To Our Beloved Nation,
The heinous terrorist attack on the Ankara Kahramankazan facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has deeply shaken us all. As a result of this treacherous attack, the martyrs and wounded have broken our hearts as a nation. I wish Allah's mercy to our brothers and sisters who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to our wounded. I wish condolences and patience to their families, relatives and the entire Turkish nation.
Such treacherous attacks are ruthless acts aimed at breaking the resistance of our nation and state. However, as we have seen many times throughout history, such dastardly attacks can never discourage us; on the contrary, it will lead us to embrace each other even more. I sincerely believe that we will be able to overcome these challenging days by keeping our unity, solidarity and spirit of brotherhood stronger than ever.
Turkish Aerospace Industry is one of the most important institutions of our country in the field of defence and aerospace, and this attack was not only on that institution, but also on our country's national technology and independence journey. However, no matter what is done, our progress on this path will not be stopped, and we will carry our country and our defence industry even further by respecting the memory of our martyrs and the resilience of our wounded.
While the pain experienced today will remain in the hearts of all of us, we will never allow such attacks to achieve their goals. Standing against all forms of terrorism is one of our most fundamental duties as a nation. Such acts of terrorist organisations, fuelled by hatred, will not harm the unity and solidarity of our country. We should show our gratitude to our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives without blinking their eyes by protecting their trust.
In these difficult days, we would like to express once again that we are with our state and our nation as always and that we are determined in the fight against terrorism. It is the duty of all of us to keep the memory of our martyrs alive and not to forget their sacrifice. The blood of our martyrs will not remain in the ground and those responsible for these treacherous attacks will be held accountable before justice.
On this occasion, we once again wish Allah's mercy to our martyrs and wish a speedy recovery to our wounded citizens. Our nation's condolences. Our fight against terrorism will continue with determination and our country will continue to stand firm despite such treacherous attacks. On the way to protect the indivisible integrity of our homeland, the relics of our martyrs will always be our crown of honour.
