Our President Zeki Demirtaşoğlu and Prof. Dr. Nusret Zencirci took an important step by visiting Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengizoğlu. During the visit, it has been decided to take an appointment from Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), and visit together with the Rector Cengizoğlu. In this meeting, the importance of the milling sector, which is a very strategic sector for our country, was emphasised.
The milling sector plays a key role in the food industry and is recognised as an essential component for the production of flour and bakery products. In order to maximise the potential of our country in this field, it is considered to open a new four-year Milling department. This will fulfil the need for intermediate staff demanded by the sector and will also contribute greatly to the creation of employment.
In addition, the lack of experts in the milling sector will be eliminated, allowing the sector to develop more efficiently and sustainably. This step will both make a significant contribution to the economy of our country and support the growth of the food industry. The opening of the milling department is seen as an important step towards our country's growth and development targets in the agriculture and food sectors. In this way, our sector will become more competitive in the national and international arena and more job opportunities will be created throughout the country.
