It is planned to produce an annual energy storage system of 1 GWh at the battery (energy storage system) production facilities to be built within Norm Yeşil Enerji Anonim Şirketi. The activities of the company to be established will also cover plant installation services where energy storage solutions are included in the integration.
A total investment of USD 10 million is envisaged for the subject facility, and concrete investment decisions will be determined by the company to be established according to the type and size of the planned facility.
Considering that the use of fossil fuels, which is more than 60 percent in electricity generation in our country, increases emission values, fights emission-emitting elements all over the world, questions energy production resources by countries within the framework of sustainability, efficient use of energy and storage of energy produced by renewable sources in particular due to its discontinuity are considered important, and considering that our dependence on external energy is very high in our country, this investment will make significant contributions in an environmental sense, it is thought that it will provide added value to both the company and the national economy commercially.
