At the meeting, many issues were discussed, from the raw material problem of the sector to the customs duty of mill machinery imported from abroad.

Mr. Zeki Demirta October: ”Since the term periods for sheet metal material needed by the sector are 3 to 6 months, at least in this regard, additional customs duties can be imposed on exports in Turkey to prevent the export of sheet metal used by machine manufacturers in mills abroad, so that sheet metal exports are prevented, we will provide much more added value to our country by converting it into more value-added machinery and exporting machinery," he said. Dear Demirtaşoğlu; “our sector that produces food-related machinery, parts and sheets that come into contact with food, internal components other than normal sheet metal are stainless steel, October We have difficulty understanding why additional taxes are imposed on stainless steel that comes from abroad and is not produced domestically,”he said. Continuing his speech, Mr. Demirtaşoğlu said: “The approximately 20% Tax imposed negatively affects our exports because it reduces our chances of competition abroad and allows us to fall back by 20% against our competitors. We demand that the additional taxes on stainless steel placed in this meaningless place be removed urgently in order to October to increase export figures and keep our promise.”

Stating that there is no undergraduate school at the point of milling in our country, President Demirtaşoğlu said“ “In line with our goals, they want to establish a structure similar to the milling school located in the USA as a ”Milling Campus" in our country, and they want to teach courses on milling, raw materials and sectoral production, including international students at different levels, and in this campus; dormitory, dining hall, raw materials, storage systems, production facilities, flour factory, feed factory and the resulting semi-finished products will be processed and converted into finished goods, pastry, bread, pasta, biscuit production lines will be established and related course programs will be organized,”he said. At the end of the training, if the trainees are successful, their certificates will be presented to them by DESMUD on this campus based on the courses and trainings they have received, and we want to realize such a project in Ankara with the support of our Ministry,”he said.

Minister Çavuşoğlu also mentioned the names of universities that may be alternative and said that we, as the Ministry, will do our best regarding the opening of a 4-year department here.

Our President Zeki Demirtaşoğlu said "Our sector, which exports 2.2 Billion dollars in 2020, will be the 100th of our Republic if our existing projects are realized and with the support of our Ministry.
