Our President Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, despite the pandemic, which is a global problem, made a statement about the situation of the machinery sector in exports. Our President“ "The pandemic, which began to appear in our country in March, has caused a number of difficulties in economic terms as well as negatively affecting life. However, our association, which produces machines and sends the domestic-national machines it produces to the world, continued its production without taking a pessimistic attitude in this process. Thanks to this, he also gave a shoulder to the exports of the machinery sector of our country. When we look at today, even highly developed countries in the machinery industry have entered into a contraction. However, our developing country did not experience this contraction in the machinery industry too much, on the contrary, despite the pandemic, it increased its exports for the second time. This is a gratifying development both for us industrialists and for our country,”he said.

Our Chairman Demirtaşoğlu, who continued his statement by saying that developed countries are moving towards keeping more stock while producing, said; “Our sector has experienced a serious recovery since July, and we can see this with export rates. Of course, as a country, we have experienced a contraction in the machinery industry compared to the previous years, but Turkey has followed a course below this contraction compared to other developing countries. Next winter will be a little difficult for us machine manufacturers, but we have taken the necessary measures for this. We aim to get out of this process in the best possible way with the support of our state and add value to our country,”he said.
